Terms of Service

1. Definitions

  • "Platform" refers to the Bitcoin Ordinals NFT minting interface hosted at ordroad.com
  • "NFT" means Bitcoin Ordinals non-fungible tokens
  • "Service" means the web interface enabling Ordinals NFT minting through the Payment Service Provider for finality
  • "User," "you," or "your" refers to any individual or entity accessing or using the Platform
  • "Developer" refers to the provider of the user experience, application backend, database management, and hosting service
  • "Payment Service Provider" refers to the third-party developer implementing the Bitcoin transaction functionality
  • "FreeRoss Project" refers to the creators and rights holders of the NFT artwork and content

2. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the Platform, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • You are interacting with Bitcoin blockchain transactions
  • You understand the risks associated with Bitcoin transactions and Ordinals
  • These terms govern your access to and use of the interface only
  • All transactions are final and irreversible once broadcast to the Bitcoin network

3. Service Description

The Platform consists of three separate components:

  1. A web application including user interface, backend server, and database management for adding to cart/reserving Ordinals, provided by the Developer
  2. Bitcoin transaction implementation using PSBT (Partially Signed Bitcoin Transactions), provided by the Payment Service Provider through their API
  3. NFT artwork and content provided by the FreeRoss Project

4. User Responsibilities

Users are responsible for:

  • Understanding they are interacting with Bitcoin blockchain technology
  • Maintaining the security of their wallet and credentials
  • Verifying all transaction details before signing any PSBT
  • Understanding that Bitcoin transactions are irreversible
  • Accepting all risks associated with using Bitcoin and Ordinals technologies

5. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

5.1 Service Disclaimer

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties.

5.2 Liability Limitations

By using the Platform, you understand and agree that:

  • The Developer is only responsible for providing the user interface and web application
  • The Payment Service Provider is solely responsible for all Bitcoin transaction implementation and PSBT generation
  • Any refunds or compensation are at the sole discretion of the FreeRoss Project
  • Neither the Developer, the Payment Service Provider, or the FreeRoss Project shall be liable for any losses resulting from:
    • User error
    • Bitcoin network failures
    • PSBT implementation issues
    • Wallet compromises
    • Market volatility
    • Third-party actions
    • Any direct or indirect losses arising from use of the Platform
    • Any technical issues or errors
    • Any unauthorized access to user wallets or assets
    • Any interruption or cessation of the Service
    • Any actions or omissions by the Bitcoin network
    • Any loss of data or assets

6. Refunds and Transactions

6.1 Transaction Finality

  • All Bitcoin transactions are final and irreversible
  • The Developer does not process blockchain transactions or generate PSBTs
  • The Payment Service Provider generates PSBTs but does not custody funds
  • Any refunds must be requested from and approved by the FreeRoss Project
  • The Developer has no authority or ability to process refunds

6.2 Refund Policy

  • Refunds are at the sole discretion of the FreeRoss Project
  • Neither the Developer nor the Payment Service Provider can guarantee any refunds

7. Separation of Responsibilities

The User acknowledges that:

  • The Developer only provides the web application user interface
  • The Payment Service Provider implements all Bitcoin transaction functionality through their API
  • The FreeRoss Project provides the NFT artwork and content
  • The Developer has no control over:
    • PSBT generation or transaction implementation
    • Transaction processing
    • Refunds or compensation
    • Project decisions or policies

8. Risk Disclosure

Users explicitly acknowledge and accept all risks associated with:

  • Using Bitcoin blockchain technology
  • Using Ordinals protocol
  • Connecting their wallet to the Platform
  • Signing PSBTs
  • Network fees and failed transactions
  • Market volatility and asset value fluctuations
  • Potential loss of access to digital assets

9. Modifications

These Terms may be modified at any time without notice. Continued use of the Platform following any modifications indicates acceptance of the modified Terms.
